| A | Abdomen is in other words the belly. It is the part of the body, where all the structures between the chest and the pelvis are contained. It is separated from the chest by the diaphragm, the muscle, which spans the body cavity below the lungs.

Anonymous HIV Test is called the kind of HIV test conduction, when a person does not reveal his or her name or address to the people, who make this kind of test. Such a person is given a personal number, which she uses while the result obtaining. This way there no one else, except the person, who made this test get to know the result of it.
Antibody is the germ fighter, released by the immune system, when some germs get inside the body. The antibodies are released into the blood, where they find the dangerous germs and kill them. The immune system produces different kinds of antibodies, each kind fight some special kind of germs
Antigen is a germ, which gets inside the body. It may be either a virus or bacteria. Because it does not belong inside the body, it causes some kind of a disease of illness. Antigens also cause sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
Antibiotic is a kind of medicine, which kills different kinds of bacteria and germs. But it does not kill viruses.
Antiprogesterone is the kind of a drug, which prevents the use of progesterone (a hormone, necessary to establish and maintain pregnancy) by the body. Thus, antiprogesterone fights the body’s ability to establish and maintain pregnancy.
Arthritis is called the inflammation of some joint of the body.
Asymptomatic Infection is a kind of state of health, when a person has some germ or virus inside of his or her body, but he or she is not aware of it, because neither signs nor symptoms are revealed. This person becomes a carrier.
