Ineffective Contraception Methods

DOUCHING
There are bunches of women, who think that if they apply a vaginal douche right after having sexual contact, they will avoid getting pregnant. This is a very mistaken consideration, because the application of vaginal douching actually helps the sperm enter deeper into the uterus, thus, it encourages a pregnancy. Vaginal douching is never to be used by any women as the contraception method. Moreover, it should also be mentioned, that regular douching is associated with an increased risk of pelvic inflammatory diseases or with ectopic pregnancy. The female reproductive system has ability to natural cleaning, so, there is no extreme necessity to douche for personal hygiene.

NOT USING ANY METHOD OF CONTRACEPTION AT ALL
Every woman may have her own reason of using no contraception method. There are many sexually active women, who do choose not to use any kind of contraception, despite that they do not wish to get pregnant. Among every woman’s personal reasons there can be just a wish to do so, some kind of religious belief, or some medical considerations. From another hand, a woman may consider that if she uses not contraception method, it does not matter that she may get pregnant. Moreover, such a belief is a mistake for 100%.
According to the statistics, 85% of women, who choose not to use any contraception method become pregnant annually, in other words, out of 100 women, 85 will become pregnant.

SOME OTHER INEFFECTIVE METHODS OF CONTRACEPTION
To other birth control options, which proved themselves to be of low effectiveness we may refer the following:
• Improvised condoms. Anyone is to buy condoms in a store, or from some reputable online store. You are to be aware, that if the condoms’ expiration date has passed, they are to be thrown away immediately. You may never try to make condoms by yourself either out of plastic wrap, cloth or out of some other material, as it may not only lead to an unplanned pregnancy, but to some infection as well.
• Sitting up after having sexual contact. You are to know that during the ejaculation process there are millions and millions of sperm, propelled into vagina. As soon as they come inside, they start to swim towards the uterus right away. Of course some do have a chance to fall out if a woman stands up after having sex, but most of them will have already made their way far enough inside of her.
• Having the man take a hot bath before sexual contact. It is quite a mistaken impression, that a hot bath affects the men’s ability to produce sperm.
